P'lovers the Environmental Store, founded in Halifax in 1992, was one of the first stores to specialize in environmentally friendly products. P'lovers is filled with hundreds of wonderful products including clothing for adults and baby, body products, kitchen products, toys and books, jewelry, and home decor all designed to help people live more sensitively with the earth.

P'lovers stands for both "planet lovers" and "Piping Plovers" ... small Nova Scotia shore birds which were declared an endangered species in 1985. We believe the actions of each and every one of us can positively affect the quality of the world in which we live.
